Kerrianne has been at the heart of Cherry Wood Grange from its inception, having overseen the home’s opening in 2017 and the arrival of its first residents. In March 2020 she took up post as Home Manager.
Kerrianne has worked in the healthcare arena for 15 years, predominantly specialising in dementia care. Having started her career as a hospital healthcare assistant, and later working in the community, Kerrianne has been part of the Carebase family since 2014 – having been the Deputy Manager of Honey Lane, our award-winning residential dementia care home in Waltham Abbey.
Kerrianne’s passion is to create a home from home for all her residents, within a warm and friendly environment. She has developed an exceptionally dedicated team that has been cherry-picked to form the stable family unit at the heart of Cherry Wood Grange.
Kerrianne says: “I have the honour of leading a fabulous and compassionate team of carers with many years of experience. I feel very blessed being part of the Cherry Wood Grange family, a place that people can call home, yet where they receive the highest quality person-centred care. ”
Kerrianne takes a keen interest in holistic health and she enjoys practising aromatherapy and reflexology in her spare time. She also loves to travel – Iceland’s Northern Lights are next on her list!
Kerrianne lives with her son Jake, who is soon to start a biomedical science degree at university. Whilst Kerrianne is busy studying for her NVQ Level 5 in Leadership for Health and Social Care.
