Our kind and caring home manager Sue has worked in health and social care for almost 30 years and has a wealth of experience in strategic and operational roles. Sue spent much of her career at Runwood Homes, where, as their Regional Care Director, she commissioned and established new homes for the care group.
A natural leader, Sue enjoys leading and supporting her team and strives for excellence in delivering compassionate care.
During her career, Sue has been Regional Care Director for Runwood as well as ran three large care homes for older people, consistently achieving improved Care Quality Commission (CQC) ratings. She has also held specialist roles within Operations, Marketing and Customer Care.
Speaking about her role at Cherry Wood Grange, Sue said: “I’m proud to lead our wonderful, skilled and caring team. Our focus is on providing consistent, high-quality, care tailored to individual needs. Nothing makes me happier than seeing our residents enjoying life with us and the reassurance that this gives our families.”
When not looking after our treasured residents, Sue enjoys travelling with her husband, having explored much of the UK in their motorhome. She also loves to spend time with her grown-up children and her 9 grandchildren! Sue likes to relax by gardening, writing poems and practising photography.
